About

I build the system — and I see what it can't touch.

I'm David Caldicott. For most of my adult life I've been circling the same question from different angles: what happens when a person stops performing themselves and starts living as themselves? Connect Your Dots is where that work lives now.

The through-line

I didn't arrive at this fully formed. The work has carried a lot of names over the years — I was teaching a version of it long before I had language for it. What's stayed constant is the instinct underneath: that the body knows things the mind hasn't caught up with, that authenticity beats performance, and that people learn best through structure they can actually feel.

Somewhere in the middle of that journey there was a turning point that reordered everything — before it, I was searching; after it, the work had a spine. That's when the frameworks that became KIMBA and SAHARA started to take their real shape.

The lineage

One body of work, many names

·

The Dynamic Waiter

The headwater. A training method built around a simple three-step move — Scan, Mirror, Lead. It already carried the DNA: read the body, meet the person, lead from authenticity rather than script.

·

The turning point

The inflection that split the story in two. The searching stopped. The work found its structure — and its certainty.

·

The Caldicott Method

The frameworks written down for the first time — a somatic, step-by-step practice. The direct ancestor of KIMBA.

·

KIMBA & SAHARA — today

The mature form. Two clean frameworks, delivered to individuals through Connect Your Dots. Everything before was practice for this.

Why I'm the right person for this — and where my edges are

I'm unusual in one specific way: I build the automation and I see what it can't reach. I've spent years building AI systems and multi-agent tooling. That means I'm not romantic about technology and I'm not afraid of it — and I know exactly which part of you a machine will never touch. That part is the whole point of this work.

The mask I'm asking you to set down, I've set down versions of myself. I'm not offering you a theory I read. I won't spiritually bypass your pain or drown it in positivity. I'll be warm, direct, and occasionally irreverent — because that's what actually helps.

And I'll tell you honestly if what you need is something I'm not: this is coaching, not clinical care, and I hold that boundary with respect for both.
