How I handle your enquiry.
David Caldicott, trading as Connect Your Dots, is responsible for the details you send through the Life Album question form.
What I collect
Your name, reply email address, question and the time you sent it. I do not ask for album stories, recordings or other sensitive details in this form.
Why I use it
I use these details to answer your question and, if you ask to proceed, discuss the Life Album service. My basis is my legitimate interest in handling an enquiry and, where relevant, taking steps you request before a purchase. Sending a question adds you only to a private Life Album enquiry list, not to a newsletter or marketing sequence.
Where it goes
The website is hosted by Vercel. The submitted form is stored by Sequenzy in a private Life Album enquiry list and is available only to me and authorised service operators. I may receive an email alert and reply from my email account. I do not publish your question or use it as a testimonial.
How long I keep it
I keep the enquiry while it is needed to answer you and deal with reasonable follow-up, then review and delete it. If you become a customer, information needed to deliver your album is handled separately.
Your choices
You can ask me for a copy of your information, ask for a correction or deletion, or object to its use. Use the question form with “Privacy request” in the message, or email david@connectyour.online. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
This notice covers the question form. Before an interview or purchase, I’ll explain the separate handling of the stories and material used to make an album.
